Based on the Pew Research Center quiz, I am a Solid Liberal. My political beliefs tend to center around equality for all. For example, I believe that American citizens who have more wealth should sacrifice a small percentage to those who don't. This would be used for health care and legal reasons, and basic necessities that a percentage of this country cannot afford. However, I don't think that the government should require citizens to do this. I think that it should be very strongly encouraged, but not required. I believe that every American citizen should have the right to vote, the right to marry legally regardless of sexual orientation, and the right to employment/livelihood no matter the social class and situation the citizen is in. This all falls under the category of the American Dream, which every citizen should have the right to pursue, no matter their race, class, sexual orientation or otherwise.
