My political ideology was right wing libertarian. I am not surprised, I believe in the conservative ideology, while at the same time I believe in the free markets and less government. I think that the government should protect us from threats outside the country, but then should leave us alone to make our own fate in our own country. In the battle between freedom and safety I believe that freedom is more important to build a healthy long lasting society. When you have all of your needs taken care of by someone else then you have no incentive to work and make the world a better place. Also struggle builds character and helps you become a better person. To me values that all Americans should hold is preservation of freedom, love of country and a respect for life and private property. These are what make our country great and what all Americans should hold dear in these troubling times.
