Some of my political beliefs are that today immigrants strengthen our country because of their hard work and talent. I believe this because immigrants come from different places and I feel that they all have different work ethics because of where they have come from which makes them unique. Another belief I have is that hard work and determination are no guarantee for success upon people. I believe this because if you try and go out of your way to accomplish something, especially with passion, you will succeed on what you want because you want it so badly and you’re effort comes in to take action! I believe that American citizens who have more wealth should sacrifice a small amount of their earnings for unfortunate because it’s a good deed you could be doing for yourself and helping out another person in need. Also, because the wealthy have so much and I think it would be better that they take some time off spending for themselves and spend on another instead of being selfish in some sort of manner. Although, I agree they should do this, I don’t 100% agree that should be required by the government to do this. Every American should have the right on taking part on a decision whether they want to give money to the less fortunate citizens or not. Three values I believe that every American should have is; The right to vote, The right to worship as one pleases and The right to speak freely without fear of retribution/persecution.

I agree with many of your political beliefs. I think that it is an interesting point to make of whether or not wealthier citizens should be required by the government to sacrifice a percentage of their wealth for people who are less fortunate. I wonder if this was an encouraged but not required thing if wealthier people would actually comply and if the system would work.

DeleteI don't really agree with much of what you believe in. But what I do believe in is the right for anyone to worship how ever they wish, and the right to speck your mind without fear of repercussions. These, I agree are of thee upmost importance to our country.-Ian McCall
