Francesca McMahon Political beliefs

I identify as a very liberal democrat. I believe there needs to be a better pathway to citizenship in our country and that the wage gap needs to be filled. I believe that there is way too much violence against black people and I am an active supporter of Black Lives matter and the March for Our Lives. I firmly believe that we need gun reform in this country and that there need to be fewer guns in the hands of our citizens especially those with mental disorders and anger problems. I believe that the government should provide health care and that the rich should be taxed more than the poor. I believe that the government should put taxes towards health care for everyone and I believe that food stamps and welfare are vital to support low-income families. I also believe that minimum wage needs to be raised because people need to be able to support their families no matter what job they have.
